Patient Experience Reviews
Good
Check in staff member was very pleasant and helpful. Nurse that recorded my visit was very nice and efficient. The doctor was easy to talk to and listened to my concerns. This was my first visit to this doctor, it was for a consultation. He is not my usual doctor. Would recommend Dr. Chari and his staff, they all did a fine job.
It was all good
Dr Chari and his staff are wonderful. Knowledgeable, courteous, and very efficient. Always a pleasure and a pleasant experience.
Excellent experience! Care givers were professional, proficient, and pleasant. They enabled me to trust their information and upcoming care.
The Doctor and staff were great. This is of a general surgery issue so, all was explained as a person can understand.
The Doctor spent time explaining everything and actually took the time to address things. It's very rare to have this experience and not feel like a number.
Dr Chari was the third doctor I went to for wound care I had a cyst on my rear end please don't laugh wasn't getting resolved I went to him and he took care of the situation and I'm doing great I had a doctor who was experience I think was the difference not to condemn the other ones but he's more seasons in the very young doctor said I previously saw
Very good in explaining procedure for surgery.
Very satisfied with my exam and all options for surgery were explained in detail including potential complications after surgery.
Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
