We really appreciate Dr Cauwenbergh. We switched to him after our beloved pediatrics retired. He is thorough and knowledgeable. He is excellent with our son. The office staff are friendly and efficient. Thankful for them all.

Dr Cauwenburgh is the only doctor my children feel comfortable seeing for anything.

Best doctor and staff, hands down. I have recommended this doctor to my friends and family and even switched my daughters primary care doctor bc this office is so wonderful. They are kind, empathetic, courteous, gentle, knowledgeable, charismatic, and they care about their patients. Dr Cauenburgh (hard name to say, let a lone spell) genuinely enjoys his job and it is obvious when he is seeing his patients. He was respectful and professional nor had he came remotely close to causing my 13 year old daughter any embarrassment, make her feel awkward, or the least bit uncomfortable while he gave her a check up and sports physical (which is hard to do when a young girl is pubescent) During my 1 year olds well checks, he always puts my worries at ease, has easy to understand explanations, and he is very friendly and playful with my son during the exam. He is a genuine, one of a kind doctor who is dedicated to his patients, and really excels at being the perfect example of how wonderful all pediatricians should be. I would recommend him a 1000xs over. Don't lose this guy or you'll have a lot of disappointed patients.

Industry Relationships

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.

UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
