Patient Experience Reviews
Very attentive to my needs
I had a very satisfying visit with the Dr
Good he placed me on the come in sooner list
HE IS THE BEST DOCTOR I EVER MET. SO HAPY TO BE MY DOCTOR.
I was impressed with Dr. Cakulev's attentiveness and patience.
Awesome people at U.H. Thsnkbyou for helping me live better
The doctor was very thorough and took time explaining my condition and his thiughts for treatment. His nurse and staff was very attentive and answered my questions
They Dr. Was very pleasant and very articulate in describing things
I saw the Nurse Practitioner, Ms. ***. She explained the reason for the delay. The delay was understandable. Dr. Cakulev was available to answer questions. As with my last experience, the plan for me to follow was thorough. I am quite impressed with the doctor's and nurse practitioner's diligence and detail about my care plan. I will be abroad for two months. They left no opportunity for my care to fall through the cracks. I felt supported and clear about the individualized strategies to insure my heart health while I am gone.
Great Doc
He had been my electrophysiologist for 12 years. He is excellent.
AS always, the staff was excellent
Saw this provider for a specific problem. It was a good visit.
Dr Cakulev entered the exam room while the nurse was taking vitals and asking routine questions. There was no waiting. The consultation started immediately and with no need to repeat questions or explanations. The doctor led with "Why do you think you are seeing me today?" Communication with the doctor was excellent.
I wanted to call in for an appointment in order to look at my schedule at home. I can't say enough about Dr. Cakulev and his staff. The doctor really listened to me. I was especially impressed, because he had actually read my reports and also took time to look at other reports I brought In. He read them carefully and answered so many questions. I have been trying to get answers and a forward-thinking plan about my condition in other places, He provided what I needed, made a small medication change in the event I have A-Fib again and discussed a medical device that may help me monitor my EKG. All of these suggestions, relieved my mind. He was practical. I left with a practical plan that should be easy to follow. The nursing staff is also efficient and caring. I have been in touch one time since and answers came back from Katherine quickly. This is my second experience at UH, my first being with Dr. ***, a cardiologist. Both experiences reminded me of what health care can be and also included all of the new advancements and technology.
Very good
Overall visit with doctor was good, a definite plus was they scheduled my next visit with the doctor for outpatient surgery. ***
He answered all my questions so I could understand, I didn't feel rushed. ***
The Cardiologist that I saw, Dr. C is the most amazing person, with a wonderful personality and bedside manner. He explained my test results and put my fears at ease. I saw him in *** prior to surgery and he declared me well enough to withstand the major surgical procedure. I saw him and members of his staff while in hospital after a drastic drop in my heart rate. This recent visit was to discuss the results of my wearing a 30 day heart monitor. Dr. C, (sorry, don't want to misspell his name) is just the nicest Dr. I have met in a very long time. I am pleased with the care I received.
Very pleased with DR CAKULEV AND STAFF

At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities.
