Dr. Bajor is amazing!! He was my 3rd Dr. That I talked to about my chemo treatment. He was by far the most knowledgeable about all the different types of treatment available and willing to talk to me about treatments that would best suit me!!! He listened to all my concerns and when I called the office to get more clarification, he called back the next day and genuinely show joy and gratitude that I picked him and UH for my treatment!! I feel confident going through this journey with him as my doctor.

You ask if my provider spent enough time with me. Dr. Bajor is outstanding in spending the needed time with his patients, including me, but you do not schedule enough time for him to do that. As a result, he tends to be behind the scheduled time in his appointments. If you are truly serious about allowing the doctors enough time to talk to their patients, while still being careful about patients' time, you need to schedule the appointments farther apart. I know that lessens the income per day coming in (I am a CPA), but it also keeps your doctors from burning out because they are doing too much in one day. Multiply that by the days they are working, and that's a recipe for disaster.I love and honor Dr. Bajor and thank God that he is walking with me through this difficult cancer journey. Please take care of him appropriately -- as well as your other doctors.By the way, Dr. Bajor has never complained to me at all, and discourages me when I try to hurry-along our appointment. He insists that we fully discuss problems and concerns. What a gem!

Industry Relationships

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.

UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
