Patient Experience Reviews
Dr. Al Deek is an advocate and a delight.
Dr. Al Deek is a wonderfully excellent Physician. *** He and his entire staff are very kind, caring and professional. I am more than pleased with my level of care from this provider.
Dr Nidal Al Deek is a wonderful Dr. He goes over everything with you while never talking down to you. He and his staff especially his nurse *** are amazing. He is an extremely talented surgeon. I'm so lucky to have found him. I appreciate all the hard work and time he dedicated to us patients
Dr Nidal El. Deek and his entire staff were wonderful. They were kind, explained everything that they were going to do during the visit. Ist hard to explain but this staff were very knowledgeable, kind and gracious.
Dr Nidal Al Deek is an exceptional Doctor. He shows genuine care and compassion for his patients. Goes above and beyond for care. Listens to all of your concerns, when speaking to you, he speaks to you not down to you. I wish all Dr's have the phenomenal bedside manner of this Doctor. UH and all of his patients are lucky to have him. His surgical care is phenomenal, my incisions are healing beautifully, and have received the best care from not only the Dr but also his team. Nurse *** is an essential part of his team, goes above and beyond should I call or email with any questions she gets back to me immediately, they never make you feel as though you are bothering them. The care I received from his PA *** and NP *** while in the hospital post op was just as phenomenal as the care I receive in the office. He and his staff are hands down the best office I have ever been in.
Very good experience! Dr. Al Deek is a wonderful doctor! I would highly recommend him to family and friends.
Doctor Al Deek is so caring. He drew on me twice and both times wiped the ink off of me. He listened well and addressed my concerns. His bedside manner is the best.
Think he is a great doctor
Dr. Al Deek is one of the most kind, caring Surgeon's I have have ever encountered. He preformed my initial surgery ***. Then 2 subsequent surgeries in the month of ***. Along with his wonderful team of wound care professionals I received the best care possible. They provided excellent care during the weeks I was an inpatient at UH, along with follow up visits to his office. I highly recommend this Physician and his colleagues to anyone who may need surgery combined with compassion, caring and commitment to excellence.
Even though I have had no complaints about no doctor or staff member at University Hospital but there's something really special about Dr. Al Deek because from the very first time I met him and his team I had no complaints, if anything, I could say Dr. Al Deek is my favorite. Dr. Al Deek may be a plastic surgeon but keep in mind I'm a patient with a seizure disorder that was given that seizure disorder by my own father and most of the the time I need to talk to someone about how I feel and he could of easily ignored me or told me I need to speak to someone else but he always listened to what I had to say. Like I said, Dr. Al Deek and his team is the best!!!
Was an excellent experience
I've always had the utmost respect for Dr. Al Deek, he is one of my favorite doctors. I've most certainly feel blessed that I have had some of the best doctors from university hospital work on me and for that I will forever be grateful, but for some reason the 4 doctors that have made an ever lasting impact on me not only by fixing me up but also the way they spoke to me and how they made me feel, are Dr. Al Deek, Dr. ***, Dr. *** and my Neurologist Dr. *** (that's not implying that the other doctors didn't make me feel good when then spoke to me) it's just something about these 4 doctors that I can't explain it with words. Thank you and God Bless them!!!
Dr AlDeek and nurse *** are both wonderful. Dr AlDeek I pray never goes anywhere he is a kind, compassionate, super knowledgeable Dr with the absolute best bedside manner from a surgeon/Doctor that I have ever had. Not to mention just how talented he is. I am more than 100% thrilled with my surgery ***
I am amazed with the quality of care given at all the UH facilities
Excellent experience everyone was kind and knowledgeable
Dr. Al Deek and his nursing staff are wonderful. Always kind respectful and caring. However the front desk staff I can not say the same. Short and inconsiderate wish they would be more kind and friendly to people
Dr. Al Deek was professional yet kind. He had a big smile on his face when he walked in the door. I enjoyed the time spent with him. He took great care of me too !
Very helpful and courteous

Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
