All electronic communications with the HR information system are fully encrypted and password protected. Your encrypted (encoded) information is protected using "Secure Socket Layers (SSL)" as it passes between your browser and UH servers. The best way to ensure security is to not share your log-on ID and Password with anyone.
This system is designed to ensure that access is tightly controlled so that a person can only see that information for which they have specific authorization. For example, an employee can only see information about him or herself, and no one else. Certain UH employees have access to more information, but are all subject to confidentiality and non-disclosure obligations related to all such information.
