General Visiting Information for University Hospitals: Only two visitors are allowed at one time. Please stop at the receptionist desk in the hospital lobby before entering any division. For the comfort of our patients, please comply with visiting hours. Community hospitals and ambulatory services are not listed. Please go to

Parents and guardians are welcome to visit any patient division and the Intensive Care Units, 24 hours a day. Family and friends may visit 8 am to 8 pm, two visitors at a time per patient. Brothers and sisters in good health may visit from 8 am to 8 pm. Please make arrangements ahead of time with your child’s nurse or a child life specialist. |

Recovery Rooms |
|
Adult Preoperative/Recovery Room – Families can go with the patients to the Recovery Room before surgery.
Pediatric Recovery Room – Parents/guardians can go with the child to the Pediatric Recovery Room before surgery. The post-operative visiting policy will be explained at that time. |
