Presentation Schedule: Preparing for the Flu
The “Preparing for the 2009 Flu Season” educational seminar is designed for adults and high school age students, and will cover the following topics:
- What is the flu and how is it different from the common cold?
- What are the differences between the symptoms and treatment options for Seasonal Flu vs H1N1 Influenza (aka The Swine Flu)?
- How is the flu spread?
- How can you protect yourself and your family?
- What should you do if you or someone you love gets sick?
- When will the flu vaccinations (shots) be available, who is encouraged to get the vaccine, and are they safe?
