The mission of the Division of General Academic Pediatrics (GAP) at UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital is to provide leadership and academic excellence in clinical care, education and research within the broad scope of the discipline of general pediatrics.

The Division of GAP represents one of the largest Divisions within the Department of Pediatrics of Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) at UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital. UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital is a 244-bed, nationally-recognized tertiary care pediatric academic medical center, providing care to thousands of children each year throughout the region.
