Poison Control CenterThe Greater Cleveland Poison Control Center is the State of Ohio designated Poison Prevention & Treatment Center for Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina counties. Information covering the management of poisoning is provided by specially trained drug & poison, registered nurses or pharmacists, under the supervision of a clinical toxicologist. A follow-up system has been established to monitor the outcome of patients involved in a poisoning. Informational materials & educational programs on poisoning are available to the public & to health care professionals.
