At UH Ireland Cancer Center, the Neuro-Oncology Patient Care Team considers many factors when determining a treatment plan, including the patient's age, health factors, and the type, location, and size of the tumor. The team develops a comprehensive, state-of-the-art plan that offers each patient optimal treatment and quality of life.

A multidisciplinary team enables UH Ireland Cancer Center to provide advanced care and treatment for adult and pediatric patients with primary and metastatic brain tumors and related problems. The Neuro-Oncology Patient Care Team is comprised of neuro-oncologists, neurosurgeons, radiation oncologists, neuroradiologists, physicists, nurses, and a comprehensive support staff. The patient's referring physician is kept informed and involved throughout treatment to ensure continuity of care.
