Using a non-invasive imaging modality, our team provides anatomic, physiologic and metabolic information of organ systems and tumors. Patients are injected with a small amount of radioactive compound. Imaging is performed after sufficient time has elapsed for the material to localize in the system. The department offers a full range of standard nuclear medicine procedures, including:

• Positron Emission Tomography (PET)
• Myocardial imaging
• Radionuclide therapy

The department hours of operation are from 6:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday on the main campus of University Hospitals. Emergency on-call services are provided 24 hours a day, seven days a week. For more information on our division, please go to www.uhrad.com
